Release Overview 9.x

• Signing of document files (25 Minutes)

  • Starting with PDF-formatted files, beginning with version 9.6 Microsoft Office files are supported as well.

  • Concept: Quasi-standard feature based on an abstract object type with standard client features:
    The signing of a document

    • Client actions: “Request signatures”, and beginning with version 9.6 “Cancel signing”.

    • The new object detail aspect ‘Signatures’ shows the current processing parameters

    • Specific history events

    • Search for signing-relevant documents

  • The new Signing-Service supports the DocuSign eSignature platform (Beta-Version for presentation and testing, beginning with version 9.6 to be used for production)

  • Notice: Each environment that uses the Signing-Service has to be certified against DocuSign eSignature!
    

• Optimized handling of objects that are used in a process (5 Minutes)

  • Client: Users get a notice and can force the deletion

  • Management-Studio: The deletion operation takes such objects into account as well

• Extended search: Users can find documents without content files. (2 Minutes)

• The download of many document files is optimized: The files are zipped now (this solves browser issues) (3 Minutes)

• The filter of the inbox is optimized: saving and deleting text filters on the server side, filtering for accepted/unaccepted tasks, and rearrangements for a better understanding (3 Minutes).

  

• Configuration in the management-studio: Files can be stored encrypted in external archives as well (2 Minutes)
  

  

• Improvement of the user interface in the designer: properties view for deadlines and delays configurations (3 Minutes):

  • Indexing for autocompletion is available for table columns as well.

  • Administrators can configure the digit grouping for BPM properties of type number as it is possible for business object properties so that yuuvis® RAD client shows numbers with a thousand separator,
    e.g., 3,546,521.56 in English / 3.546.521,56 in German / 3'546'521.56 in Swiss German. (1 Minute)
