Product Presentation yuuvis® Momentum 2026 Autumn

Core (Andreas, 15 min)

Relations

  • Relations are directed and inherit metadata from source to target into the search index; relation-based searches use a simple dot notation instead of joins.

Security & audit

  • Successful logins are recorded in the audit log, groups now also control access to API endpoints, and secrets in configuration resources are resolved from the environment at runtime.

Property permissions

  • Read and write rights can be granted per property and role in the Role Set, so sensitive fields are hidden or read-only for some roles while the rest of the object stays accessible.

Document lifecycle

  • Unclassified documents are tagged automatically and stay visible until a business type is assigned; lifecycle actions read the schema, no project-specific webhooks needed.

Catalogs (continued)

  • Catalogues and their values are protected from deletion while they are referenced in the schema or used by objects; shipped defaults are always protected.

Platform

  • All services run on the current framework generation for continued security patches and CVE fixes, import and update return all validation errors at once, and operations gain further configuration options.

shell-client apps (Martin, 10 min)

explorer

  • The ‘smart search’ replaces the extended search dialog.

    • All search requests use the CMIS API instead of the WEB-API (will be deprecated in the near future).

  • Search can be saved and reused.

  • The object details navigation is optimized.

New app dashboards

  • This new app supports the user with widgets that provide data overviews and quick access to objects.

  • Apps can register their widgets for selection. Some of our apps provide the following widgets:

    • explorer: Recently added or edited objects

    • inbox: Amount of open tasks

    • signing: My requested signatures in process & status overview.

New app sharing

    • This new app supports users in sharing content files with external users via Outlook.

    • The app extends the client with a share action to hand over the content files of selected documents to Outlook to be used as attachments (OWA).

    • The office-service provides an endpoint for this feature.

    • Users can add the files that were handed over via the share action to an email using a new Outlook add-in.

CaseM 2.0 (Andreas S., 12 min)

CaseM 2.0 Client

Based on yuuvis® and the “Apps-in-a-Shell” approach, CaseM 2.0 is currently being developed. Further development of the CaseM 2.0 client:

Resolving conflicts while editing metadata or content (Git-like feature)

  • Customer Story CaseM: In the event of version conflicts, users can decide how to resolve the conflict based on the displayed differences

Managing custom metadata in the client

  • Customer Story CaseM: Admins can create and edit their own tenant-specific metadata using an admin tool
