A complete JMeter Test Suite for verification of a new or updated yuuvis® Momentum installation, comprising all endpoints of the yuuvis® core API in a number of end-to-end test scenarios.Apache JMeter is open source and runs on any system that supports Java, which is why it was chosen as a testing environment for our Java-based REST API.

We are using version 5.2.1 of JMeter which requires Java 8 or higher. You may experience compatibility issues with older versions of JMeter.

Download a binary release of JMeter, unpack it, and run the 'jmeter' command from /<jmeter_binary_folder>/bin in cmd (command prompt).

You can download a version of the Test Suite without API URL or credentials here. On the title page of the test suite, enter your system's host and your login credentials as well as your tenant name.

To run a test, enable the Thread Group it belongs to and the test itself (disabled test items are gray, whereas enabled items are white) by selecting it and either clicking the 'Toggle' button on the upper toolbar in JMeter or pressing Ctrl+T. Make sure the root level test plan is also toggled, otherwise no tests will run at all. Click the green 'Start' button to run all currently enabled tests. The results will be displayed in the Results Tree.
