Digest 8.4

During the development of yuuvis® RAD version 8.4, the following new features and changes were made that are described in this documentation.

Updates

All services use Spring Boot 2.5.13 to solve the CVE-2022-22950 issue. (internal: TUK-1033, TUK-1137, ERA-8647, ERA-8654, SAP-1193)

Users are supported by a suggestion list when typing a value into a refrence field. This makes opening the suggestion dialogue unnecessary. (internal: TUK-1100)
The object types displayed to users in suggestion lists of reference fields can be filtered by means of client form scripting. (internal: TUK-1040)

yuuvis® RAD designer can connect to a gateway with a configured context path. (internal: ERA-8502)
It is possible to select system object types for the classification of IDs in DMS and workflow editor in order to be able to use them in a more general way than currently possible (only for abstract object types and object types). (internal: ERA-8412)

Postponed to version 8.6: The complexity of user passwords can be configured in yuuvis® RAD management-studio. (internal: TUK-994)
Postponed to version 8.8: Administrators are supported by an operation that extends the retention time for specific objects. (internal: TUK-862)

User and group synchronization from multiple LDAP servers can be configured such that all users and groups from each server are imported to specified groups in yuuvis® RAD. (internal: ERA-8619)
- i.e., it is posible to specify the initialparent parameter for each domain that is synchronized in synchronization.domain.initialparent
- top-level configuration (synchronization.initialparent) is inherited if single configuration does not specify it

No features were set to deprecated or removed with version 8.4.

There are no breaking changes in version 8.4.
