Digest 8.2
During the development of yuuvis® RAD version 8.2, the following new features and changes were made that are described in this documentation.
New Maintenance Features
yuuvis® RAD core-service – LDAP Synchronisation from Multiple LDAP Directories
- This feature has been introduced in version 8.0 and has been now updated so that each user and user group synchronisation configuration can be placed in its yuuvis® RAD group (previously, users and groups from all LDAP directories would end up in the same yuuvis® RAD parent group). (internal: ERA-8619)
yuuvis® RAD service manager installation
- As an administrator, you are supported to set Elasticsearch parameters during the installation of yuuvis® RAD service manager. (internal: TUK-1051)
yuuvis® RAD agent installation
- As an administrator, you can easily roll out yuuvis® RAD agent with default connections. (internal: TUK-1044)
New User Features
yuuvis® RAD client
- German umlauts and emojis are correctly formatted in Excel, if a hit list export in CSV format is opened via double click. In order for this to work, the
index service
must be configured to set a UTF-8 BOM encoding. (internal: TUK-980) - As a user speaking traditional Chinese (zh-Hant for traditional), Swiss German (de-CH), Thai (th), or Vietnamese (vi), you are potentially supported by the client user interface. Potentially means that an administrator can configure the client with the corresponding language files and that the dates and numbers are correctly formatted for these languages. In case of a sublocale like
zh-Hant
andde-CH
, it is not possible to use them together withzh
respectivede
because yuuvis® RAD designer only allows for the configuration of labels for the main locale which is used for the sublocales as well. (internal: TUK-1050)
