Release Overview 10.0

  • The release date is planed for the 30th of April 2024.

  • Updates (3 Minutes)

    • Business value: keeping the system future-proofed.

    • All Microservices are updated to Spring Boot 3.2.4.

      • New look & feel changes to the service-admin interface.

    • The client framework is updated to Angular 17.

      • Remark: upgrade your custom clients.

  • License Control (10 Minutes)

    • Request a license via yr-license@optimal-systems.com

    • REST-WS Interface: license information, staging of a new license

    • core-service: control of the license parameter: number of named or concurrent users, expiration date

      • Don't be afraid of the update: a PROVISIONAL license with validity for one month is generated.

    • management-studio:

      • Organization: assigning a named license to a user.

      • Operation: checking the expiration date and sending admin emails.

        • Next to come: checking, staging, and automatic activation of a new license.

    • client: within the last month, the user is informed about the upcoming expiration date.

  • OCR-service (3 Minutes)

    • Business value: easier market access, reduced administration effort.

    • The OCR-service also supports Tesseract OCR 5, in addition to ABBYY Finereader 12.

    • Remark: Tesseract can not render PDF/A files.

  • Microsoft O365 Integration (10 Minutes)

    • Business value: increased productivity, reduced administration effort.

    • The client preview uses the Microsoft O365 rendition capabilities.

    • For editing including collaboration: each user needs a Microsoft O365 account.

  • Configurable Client Dashboard: (5 Minutes)

    • Business value: increased productivity

    • The Chart widget offers more statistical capabilities for business-intelligence.

  • Share permission (3min)

    • Business value: better administration

    • In the configuration of a role, it is possible to check the new permission Share. Only users with this role are offered the client object action Share.
      Formerly, users with the Edit permissions were able to share a document.

  • Users, groups and roles can be excluded from participating in a workflow task (3min)

    • Business value: easier and faster development of workflows

    • A common workflow requirement is to exclude specific users, groups or roles from participation in a particular task. These organization objects can be easily excluded from participation in BPM scripts.

    • Excluded users are shown in management-studio, so that administrators understand why a particular task is not visible for a particular user.

yuuvis® Momentum 2023 Winter LTS

The declaration of conformity for yuuvis Momentum 2023 LTS is available in german.

yuuvis Momentum has successfully passed the testing of software products in accordance with
IDW PS 880. It has also been tested and approved for use in a regulated environment.

Regarding the audit reports (not the certificates):
The written report can only be passed on to other companies if the respective company, as a third party, makes a legally binding declaration before receiving the report that it agrees to the validity of the General Engagement Terms for Auditors and Auditing Companies dated January 1, 2002 with regard to any claims it may have against IT AUDIT and that it will also treat the report and all information contained therein confidentially and will not pass it on. A corresponding so-called declaration of accession will be prepared by us for each report recipient if required.
