• Future-proof for all: Updates for
  • core-service with Wildfly 26, JDK 11, and current database drivers
  • service manager including all services with JDK 11 and SpringBoot 2.5.7/8 (new admin manager look & feel)
  • search & index service with Elasticsarch 7.16.2.
    • Reindexing is necessary (7 million objects per hour)
    • Performance optimized for search with a beginning *
  • Workflow Script Engine with GraalVM engine instead of Nashorn.The new engine brings full support for the ECMAScript2 specification. Existing scripts have to be tested and may have to be adapted.
  • yuuvis® designer with .NET framework version 4.8.
• For administrators and programmers:
  • Support of synchronization with many Active Directories that are in a trusted relationship, including authentication by them.
  • Support of OpenAPI: Swagger-UI replaces the old user interface that allowed for testing of the REST endpoints including documentation.
• For users:
  • Deutsch-Schweiz: 4'711.35 instead of 4.711,35
  • Copy and paste files instead of drag and drop them
  • Receive notifications about new inbox items

yuuvis® Momentum

The documentation for the yuuvis® Momentum 2022 Spring release is available. A few highlights:

• Description of the features of our yuuvis® Momentum client as reference implementation: The former user documentation has been revamped into a detailed feature description, in which you can discover the possibilities of client development with yuuvis® Momentum. Please also refer to our library documentation when building your own client.
• Frequently asked questions are now answered on our brand new FAQ page.
• For customers who want to combine yuuvis® Momentum with their SAP installation, a detailed documentation of our integration is now available.

General

As a reaction to past vulnerabilities, e.g., Spring4Shell, we have introduced a new section in our doc portal: Release warnings. It is available under the following link: https://help.optimal-systems.com/rw/en/index.html. On this page, we will keep you informed about our internal analyses as to how our products are affected and which measures are to be taken. 

We have introduced a small improvement in our interim global search with Google which is available via the question mark button in the online help: the restriction to our domain is already pre-filled. You only have to enter the desired search term(s) between the quotation marks. This feature will be rolled out step by step into our online help.
